Winter, the Herald of Death
Winter has come. Autumn could keep it at bay no longer, and the frost, snow, and wind now sweep across the land. The audible groanings and lamentations of the earth are evident through the frost and snow as they cover the once fertile fields and meadows. The passing of the preceding seasons culminates into a dying breath as the earth exhales its warmth and life. The flora retreat once more into themselves, the fauna tuck themselves away into dens and burrows to await the warm caresses of the sun once more. But, Winter chides, this too shall pass.
