Autumn, the Herald of Change
The once vibrant and prosperous land has forfeited its bounties for others to enjoy. The sun, once an entity to behold with its blasting heat and warmth has become docile and tame, shedding its golden light without malice. The trees tire and shed their now burdensome crowns, the fields lay barren, the fauna sensing the changes of the wind, once warm and gentle, now cool and forceful. The season of change has arrived, ready to strip all of the joys of Summer from the land and bring a time of melancholy. The colors of life dim and grow cold, tucking themselves away for they know what lays ahead, a time of stillness, darkness, and cold.
