Introduction
In graphic design, what looks dramatic? Comic? Would high contrast contribute to drama? Would odd proportions possibly contribute to a visual comic effect? The goal of these exercises is to develop a deeper understanding and knowledge of using Photoshop as a photo-manipulation software and broaden awareness of its creative capabilities.

-- Develop a deeper understanding and knowledge of using Photoshop as a photo-manipulation software

Project Overview

-- Take a photograph or find a public domain image to use
-- Change it—posterize, modify, exaggerate, tear, or any other action—to render some versions comic and some tragic
-- Optional: Select a typeface for each image that would either support the image or be sympathetic or in contrast to it
