This piece is centered around the Czech word Litost which means the “the humiliated despair we feel when someone accidentally reminds us, through their accomplishment of everything that has gone wrong in our lives.” Isabella focused on the idea of comparison and the areas
of life that people often feel insecure about. The style of these cards were inspired by Alphonse Mucha and his decorative posters.
